Monica and Tasha López de Victoria, 28 and 26 years of age respectively, best known as the TM Sisters, are shining Miami siblings that have been artistically enthused since very young. Their parents home-schooled them and they grew up immersed in discussions regarding profound topics such as relationships, conduct, and creativity, which undoubtedly, triggered their ability to produce great multimedia and interactive art pieces.

The Sisters’ works have been presented in various renowned international exhibits, such as “Uncertain States of America: American Art in the 3rd Millennium” curated by Hans Ulrich Obrist, Daniel Birnbaum, and Gunnar B. Kvaran; the 2nd Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art, and in PERFORMA 07. Plus, their pieces have also been published in L’Officiel Magazine, The Guardian, NY Times, Vogue Italia and other well-known publications.

As part of the MARTE Contemporary Program, the Museum of Art in El Salvador is pleased to invite art enthusiasts to this one of a kind performance by the TM Sisters: "Things Will End Before They Start", that will be held on Thursday, August 12th at 5:30pm. The presentation is a short video performance where the TM Sisters are the live characters in a paper cut out animation. The piece is about how one must close chapters of running life to make space for the new, bright, and exciting potential.
